The new Omega Speedmaster 57 collection remains true to the overall idea of paying tribute to the 1957 CK 2915 but changes many things compared to the past version. As said, the new Omega Speedmaster 57 Chronograph Co-Axial Master Chronometer 40.5mm (yes, that’s its full name) is a strong evolution over the previous model. From a 41.5mm automatic watch, we now moved to a smaller, more compact hand-wound model.
The new Omega Speedmaster ’57 is an upgrade of the previous version, with a new in-house developed (hand-wound) movement and a smaller case diameter (40.5mm instead of 41.5mm). Due to the new movement, it also has become thinner.
