In this Rolex Datejust 41 review, we’ll highlight how both the Datejust 41 and Datejust II share the same 41mm case size, but the newer version is slimmer and more elegantly proportioned, whereas the Datejust II is thicker and sportier. I like the slate dial Datejust 41 because it is a nice shade of gray, not too light or dark, and it offers a neutral dial color that can go with about any color combo. Black is also very nice, but there are so many black dial watches, and as a result, the Rolex slate was my choice. In the Rolex realm, rhodium pertains to a specific dark or slate grey color in the sunray dials, achieved by using ingenious brushing and plating techniques. Here’s a brief guide to Rolex’s rhodium dial models:Offered with the option of white, black, silver, blue or rhodium gray, the classicly-styled dial finishes off this modern-day Datejust 41, and all dial colors work equally well with its monochromatic White Rolesor construction.
