Palladium hardware is newer and looks more contemporary/modern. I feel that perhaps it looks a bit younger and perhaps more subtle. I have a Birkin 30 in Togo leather, palladium hardware in the color Black. Have this for 3 years now. My second order I then acquired a Birkin 30 in Etain, Togo leather with rose gold hardware.
