The Fendi Château Residences in Miami have just been completed, marking the company’s first branded real estate project globally, in a partnership with Château Group. It may be seven decades on, but Fendi’s resurrection of the Square Colosseum and Ulrich’s furniture proves that good design remains just as powerful as the day it was conceived.
Guglielmo Ulrich was among the countless designers, artists and intellectuals called upon in the 1930s to give shape to this “new” city; he designed furniture that was in perfect dialogue with the suspended monumentality of the buildings. Inside the exhibition, a section will pay homage to good design, which is obviously a core belief for FENDI, and it will include numerous original furnishings and interiors by Guglielmo Ulrich. One of the most outstanding pieces of the exhibition is The Poesia Di Luce, or Poem of Light in english, by artist Mario Nanni.
