The GMT hand has minimal lume loss, but this is expected in a sports watch over 65 years old. They were able to accomplish the dual time zone requirement by adding a 24-hour hand and a rotating bezel to a 25-jewel automatic movement.
Models with aluminium inserts are becoming rare, but not impossible to find in good condition with a correct dial.
